Webinar Video & Slides – Building a Federated Semantic Layer using Starburst Presto
In this September webinar, Tom Nats discusses the value of building a federated semantic layer and how to do so using Starburst Presto. Key topics covered include best practices to build a semantic layer across multiple data sources, how to secure and mask data using integrated Ranger rules, creating and exposing different “layers” of data to end users, and separating workloads and access using multiple Presto clusters. A live demo is also included at the end.

Starburst Presto on GCP
We recently introduced support for Starburst Presto on GCP and can be deployed using the Starburst Presto Kubernetes solution onto the Google Kubernete Engine (GKE). GKE is a secure, production ready, managed Kubernetes service in GCP managing for containerized applications.
